Playful elves are making their way back to Debrecen’s city center

Thanks to the cooperation of Cívis Ház Zrt. and Főnix Rendezvényszervező Kft. (Debrecen Event Management Ltd.), “Cinnamon” and “Ginger,” Santa’s most mischievous fairy-tale elves, will move into the windows of downtown stores to bring a smile to the faces of passers-by.

According to the story, the elves looked into Santa’s magic telescope and decided that they wanted to spend this year’s Christmas season in Debrecen. By the strict rules of the elves’ world, they are not allowed to move in front of people, their pranks can only take place at night, and behind all their fun lies the most important message: love and kindness.

“Cinnamon” and “Ginger” will appear in the windows of a different downtown store every day between December 6 and 24.

The stores will welcome visitors with discounts and small surprises on the given day, thus strengthening the connection to the city center, the personal shopping experience, and local businesses.

The journey of “Cinnamon” and “Ginger” can be followed on the Belváros-Szeretem! (“Downtown—I Love It!”) Facebook page between December 6 and 24, where it will also be available to see what discounts the participating stores will offer the general public on the given day.
