Applying/enrolling in primary schools requires personal appearance and data verification.

On the day of enrollment, you must go to the institution that the parents have chosen for their future first-year child. The time when parents and legal representatives are expected on the days indicated above varies from institution to institution. Detailed and clear information about this can be found and purchased on the website of each school and at the school.

In order to make the data reconciliation smoother, the data can be sent online in advance via the KRÉTA system e-Administration “Enrollment in primary school – BÁI” interface.

The interface can be accessed via this link.

On the website, the personal data necessary for enrollment can be conveniently entered, the school can be selected, and any information that may be important later (meals, which relative can pick up the child from school, etc.) can also be entered.

Parents or legal representatives must still be present in person at the school of their choice on the day of enrolment, but the advance online administration through the CREDIT system shortens and streamlines the time needed for in-person enrolment.

For personal enrolment, everyone should bring the necessary official documents and the original declarations.

The head of the institution will decide on the admission of children by 16 April. The decision will then be sent by post.

More useful information on enrolment can be found on the CREDIT system, on school websites and at the school, where they will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
