Meeting organised for partners involved in a sports project for people with disabilities

Non-Profit Association “For the Moving Cívis People” (Mozgó Cívisért Közhasznú Egyesület) implements professional cooperation in Debrecen under the name Inclusion-InSport-InSociety – Heroes of Local Responsible Sport Enterprises (3IN – Heroes of LRSE).

Within the framework of the project, people with disabilities can participate in sports at various sports service providers, free of charge, with the coordination of the municipality.

The project was supported under the call for applications with the identification number ERASMUS-SPORT-2023-SCP. The Municipality of Debrecen participates in it as a partner municipality.

The programme aims to strengthen the relationship between organisations that deal with people with disabilities and sports service providers. It also promotes the social integration of people with disabilities through everyday sports activities.

The 1.5-year programme will end with a final partner meeting between 18 and 20 June 2025 at the Debrecen Sportcentrum Oláh Gábor Street sports complex.

On Wednesday morning, sports activities for people with disabilities took place, and in the afternoon, a roundtable discussion was held featuring sports service providers and athletes.
On Thursday, the participating partners – the coordinators of the Subotica, Katerini, and Debrecen programmes, as well as the “For the Moving Cívis People” Non-Profit Association – will present the progress of the local programmes, the online platform they have created, and share their experiences and plans.
