Sensirion Expands Its Debrecen Operations Under New CEO
The newly appointed Managing Director, Viktor Mátó, arrives in Debrecen with more than twenty years of experience in production management and operational leadership.
A graduate in mechanical engineering from the University of Miskolc, he has built his career in senior leadership roles at the Hungarian subsidiaries of major international companies, including LEGO, Voith, and Bosch. Reflecting on his professional philosophy, he noted: “Throughout my career, I have always believed that lasting results can only be achieved with a well-prepared and motivated team. At Sensirion, I see an environment where technological innovation and a people‑centered corporate culture reinforce one another.”
The appointment of the new Managing Director comes at a pivotal moment, as Sensirion is significantly expanding its manufacturing capacity in Debrecen. The company is actively recruiting future professionals across several roles to support this growth. The Debrecen facility is the Swiss Sensirion Group’s first European production base, supplying digital microsensors to international markets.
