Supplementary admission at the University of Debrecen has started
The supplementary admission process at the University of Debrecen began on July 30 and will remain open until midnight on August 7.
Applications are only accepted from those who did not apply during the general admission period or were not admitted to any of their chosen programs. It’s essential to note that applicants may select only one program during this phase, and applications must be submitted exclusively through the E-admission system.
All 13 faculties of the university offer programs, with a total of 119 available: 59 undergraduate programs, 54 master’s programs, 5 interdisciplinary programs, and one higher education vocational training program. The offerings span a wide range of fields, including agriculture, humanities, economics, law, engineering, arts, medicine and health sciences, teacher training, sports sciences, social sciences, and natural sciences.
In addition to self-funded programs, state-funded places are available in six fields, such as medical sciences, engineering, and teacher training. A new addition this year is the master’s program in sports mental coaching, which will be launched by the Faculty of Science and Technology in September, available in both funding formats.
The University of Debrecen admitted a record number of first-year students in this year’s general admission round: 8,224 applicants will begin their studies in September, out of more than 11,000 who selected the university as their first choice. Admission thresholds for the supplementary round are expected to be announced on August 27.
