The Debrecen Bicycle Museum celebrates its first birthday with a big party
The Debrecen Bicycle Museum will soon be one year old, and they are preparing for the anniversary with exciting programmes.
On August 1, at Piac Street 30 from 10.00 a.m. visitors will be treated to various programmes already in the morning.
The pleasant atmosphere will be provided by Nándor Réti, who will entertain visitors with his electro-acoustic guitar and singing. The guests of the celebration will be János Hidvégi, the chief museologist of the Budapest Museum of Transport, Sándor Halápi, two-time Velocipede World Champion, but veteran bicycle collector colleagues will arrive from several parts of the country as well.
Programmes:
- Cake cutting at 10.00 a.m.,
- Bike ride to the DKV exhibition hall at 11.00 a.m., where Kálmán Gara will present the exhibition hall,
- Cycling to the Debrecen cycling icon, Uncle Feri Novák, where after a short conversation participants will head back to the Debrecen Bicycle Museum.
