The Dorkász Foundation is launching a collection of school supplies again this year
The start of the school year poses a serious financial burden for many families, which is why the Dorkász Foundation has once again launched its school supply donation campaign this August.
The goal is to ensure that as many disadvantaged children as possible—including those living in foster homes locally and in Transylvania—can begin school with dignity and full equipment.
As part of the “Aha Program,” the foundation is working with over one hundred families and preparing school supply packages for 122 students.
Individuals, congregations, and companies are welcome to join the campaign.
This year, twelve companies are participating, with employees collecting supplies in boxes placed at their workplaces. These donations are then sorted and packaged by Dorkász staff.
The first packages have already been distributed in Székelyhíd.
According to the Dorkász Foundation, education is a vital opportunity for disadvantaged children to build a better future.
Donations can also be made online at dorkasz.hu, and the campaign will run throughout the month of August.
