The evening is approaching when thousands of university citizens celebrate together as a community
On September 17, the institution is expected to kick off the academic year with twenty thousand people at the Nagyerdei Stadium. Tickets purchased online for the arena can be exchanged for wristbands at four points of sale.
This is yoUDay, the organizers of which, in addition to carefully compiling and organizing the three-hour show and accompanying events, also pay attention to ensuring that this day remains unforgettable for the audience because of the show and the company.
“This is the ninth yoUDay, but every year we try to make this day even more perfect, especially for the audience. This year, tickets can be purchased via a brand new online interface, where visitors will find many surprises and useful information, and artificial intelligence will also answer questions about yoUDay,” explained chief organizer Gergő Török, who revealed that anyone who wants to change seats to the stands should hurry up, because tickets for all sectors are selling out quickly.
It seems that the event is also becoming increasingly popular among high school students, as more than 1,500 people have already registered for the evening on youday.hu.
After pre-registration, young people, their teachers, and high school employees, as well as all guests who want to experience the yoUDay experience, can collect their entry wristbands from September 12 at sales points set up in several locations in the city:
- at the entrance to the Main Building of the University of Debrecen,
- at the two ticket offices of the Nagyerdei Stadium on the zoo side,
- and on the -1st floor of the Forum.
“The yoUDay box office will be open from Friday to Tuesday between 2.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. at the university and the stadium, while at the shopping center it will be open until evening, in line with store opening hours. To ensure smooth admission, this year we will be giving visitors yellow and green wristbands, which will only allow them to enter the stadium through the entrance of the same color. However, once inside, both wristbands will allow free access to the area in front of and next to the stage.” Gergő Török added.
On Wednesday, September 17, several information desks and information maps will help you find your way to the show the easiest way: at the Mist Theater, at the intersection of Nagyerdei Boulevard and Pallagi Road, and in front of the stadium.
