The Ice Rink Will Stay Open Longer Than Planned

The skating rink in front of the Reformed Great Church was originally planned to stay open only until the end of the winter break, but due to the high level of interest, it will now remain open until 11 January 2026, Deputy Mayor Diána Széles announced in her video message.

In her post, she pointed out that from January 5, classes participating in the “Move, Debrecen!” school program can continue to use the rink free of charge and can book time slots for group skating via the email address mozdulj@debrecen.hu.
