The results of the Music Support Programme have been announced for 2025
The Municipality of Debrecen has announced the fifth iteration of its Music Support Programme application for young, amateur pop musicians.
The competition aims to provide financial support to talented amateur musicians in Debrecen, complementing existing national support schemes and addressing their shortcomings. The results of the application were announced at the Campus Festival on July 16, 2025.
Speaking about the Music Support Programme application, Deputy Mayor István Puskás said that this year, applications could be submitted in two categories (support for the production and release of pop music recordings and the production and release of pop music video clips).
A total of 31 applications were received for the call, of which 12 bands and soloists will receive financial support, totalling HUF 3,000,000.
The Music Support Programme will continue in the future, thus helping the pop music scene in Debrecen.
