25 years of contemporary graphics in Debrecen

The Ajtósi Dürer Association of Graphic Artists is opening its anniversary exhibition at the Bényi Gallery.

The Ajtósi Dürer Association of Graphic Artists (Grafikusművészek Ajtósi Dürer Egyesülete—in Hungarian, abbreviated as GADE) is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a jubilee exhibition titled “Apocalypse.”

The Ajtósi Dürer Association of Graphic Artists is a Hungarian artists’ collective established in 2000 by Tamás Komor. Based in the Debrecen region, the association brings together local graphic artists to create and present their work, often featuring exhibitions that explore their connection to the city.

An exhibition of works by more than forty artists will open at the Bényi Gallery of the Kölcsey Center on September 24 at 6.00 p.m.

János Barta, György Bogdándy, Attila Börcsök, István Bugyi,

Krisztina Családi, Orsolya Cseh, Melitta Csorján, Zsigmond Géza Dombi vitéz,

Zsolt Dóró, János Drienyovszki, Zoltán Fátyol, Csaba Fehér,

Sándor Gárdonyi, Zoltán Gonda, Alexandra Grela, Kinga Holló-Csejtei,

Sándor Imreh, Ferenc Kása, Ábel Kónya, Dávid Kovács, Timea Kurucz,

Nóra L. Ritók, Ákos László, Attila Lénárt, István Lente, Gábor Lukács,

Mihály Magyar, Fanni Makleit, András Máthé, Sándor Zoltán Nagy,

Károly Papp, Katalin Pelei, István Subicz, Géza Székely, Béla Szepessy,

Imre Szilágyi, István Tamus, József Toró, Anikó Török, Zsuzsanna Tóth M.,

József Varga, Rudolf Velényi, and László Vincze.

After the opening, the exhibition can be visited for one month; details of the opening can be found in the exhibition’s Facebook event.

This evening is not just an exhibition but an artistic gathering where the diverse world of graphic art comes to life. All art lovers, collectors, and enthusiasts are welcome to celebrate GADE’s quarter-century of work together.
