Traffic Light Junction at Tisza István and Hatvan Streets Undergoing Maintenance

The Municipality of Debrecen will carry out maintenance works on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, after the morning peak traffic period, between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., on the support structure of the traffic control signals located on the Tisza István Street branch of the Tisza István Street – Hatvan Street – Nagy Imre Street intersection.

During the works, the overhead traffic signal cross-cable will be replaced, which will require a complete power shutdown of the intersection. During the execution of the works, the traffic lights will not be in operation.

Road users are asked to travel with increased caution during the period of the works, in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Code and the posted traffic signs and road markings, paying special attention to pedestrians and cyclists.
