Complex HR Service Provider Opens New Office in Debrecen
Nationwide service provider Pensum Group began as a family business more than 25 years ago and is now present not only in Hungary but also in Austria and Germany. In Hungary, its Debrecen branch is its second office outside the capital.
Pensum Group’s comprehensive HR services are now also available in Debrecen. The group, which operates in three countries and is the only Hungarian-owned, publicly listed HR service provider, opened its city-centre office on 27 February 2026.
In his welcome address, Tamás Hadházy, co-owner of Pensum Group, highlighted that the most significant growth is being experienced in Central and Eastern Europe, with the development of Debrecen standing out in particular, as the city has grown into an economic, cultural and innovation hub. “This clearly provides suitable ground for a service provider such as ourselves to deliver our services. We believe that with the experience we possess – whether in Hungary or internationally – we can become valuable members of this community,” Tamás Hadházy stated.
At the office opening, Deputy Mayor Ákos Balázs said that the essence of recent economic development has been to provide an attractive vision for the future for the people of Debrecen, whether in terms of education, starting a family or cultural offerings. “In recent years and decades there has been a particularly strong commitment to economic development aimed at ensuring that the city has the financial means to support all this. At the same time, it is of course vital that young people are able to find good jobs, and in this process it is essential that employees and employers find one another,” Ákos Balázs noted.
This is the group’s third office in the country, and it began operations with three employees in Debrecen to serve the labour market needs of the region. As mentioned, Pensum Group pays particular attention to environmental protection and to safeguarding employees’ health as part of its commitment to corporate social responsibility.
