Great Forest Stadium to Host National Football Team’s Friendly Match This Summer

Marco Rossi’s side will play both of their summer friendly matches in Hungary, as reported by m4sport.hu’s Facebook page. What makes this even greater news for Debrecen residents is that the friendly match against the Kazakhstan team on 9 June will be held at the Great Forest Stadium.

Four days earlier, the Hungary national team will host Finland at Puskás Aréna in Budapest.

Dominik Szoboszlai and his team last played in Debrecen in June 2024, when they faced Israel. That match ended 3–0, with a goal from Roland Sallai and a brace from Barnabás Varga.
