Several Bus Services to Operate on Diversion Routes During Debrecen Drive
In order to ensure the smooth running of Debrecen Drive, the section of Nagyerdei Boulevard between Pallagi Road and Ady Endre Road will be closed. From the start of service on 29 May until the end of service on 31 May, buses 16, 22, 22Y, 24 and 24Y will operate on diversion routes.
Bus line 16
Towards Gyógyszergyár:
After the Baksay Sándor utca stop, bus 16 will continue straight towards the University, then operate via the diversion route along Nagyerdei Boulevard and Pallagi Road.
Towards Nagyállomás:
After the Szociális Otthon stop, bus 16 will turn right towards the Clinics, then continue via the diversion route along Nagyerdei körút and Hadházi Road. After the Hadházi út 92 stop, the service will resume its normal route.
Bus line 22
After the Klinikai Központ Nagyerdei Campus stop, bus 22 will turn around at the Pallagi Road roundabout, then continue via the diversion route along Nagyerdei Boulevard, Hadházi Road, Benczúr Gyula Street and Köztemető, főkapu. After the Köztemető, főkapu stop, the service will return to its normal route.
Bus line 22Y
After the Szociális Otthon stop, bus 22Y will operate via the diversion route along Nagyerdei Boulevard, Hadházi Road, Benczúr Gyula Street and Köztemető, főkapu. After the Köztemető, főkapu stop, the service will resume its normal route.
Bus line 24
After the Köztemető, főkapu stop, bus 24 will operate via the diversion route along Benczúr Gyula Street, Hadházi Road, Nagyerdei Boulevard (towards the University) and Clinics. At the Pallagi Road roundabout, the bus will turn around, then after the Klinikai Központ Nagyerdei Campus stop it will continue on its normal route.
Bus line 24Y
After the Köztemető, főkapu stop, bus 24Y will operate via the diversion route along Benczúr Gyula Street, Hadházi Road, Nagyerdei Boulevard (towards the University) and Pallagi Road. After the Szociális Otthon stop, the service will resume its normal route.
Due to the route changes, no stops will be omitted; however, buses will not stop at the stops located along the diversion routes.
DKV also highlighted that the event venues can be reached quickly by tram 1. In addition, buses 10, 10Y, 12, 13, 16, 22, 22Y, 23Y, 24 and 24Y provide easy and convenient access to the event venue from all parts of the city.
