Water Shutoff Expected in Three Streets of Debrecen on 8 June

Debreceni Vízmű Zrt. will carry out network flushing on the water main section between Áchim András Street and Bulgár Street in Debrecen on 8 June (Monday) between 8:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

During the works, water supply interruptions will affect the following areas:

• Bulgár Street (between Leiningen Street and Áchim András Street)
• Kerekes Ferenc Street (between Pöltenberg Street and Hun Street)
• Áchim András Street (between Bulgár Street and Pöltenberg Street)

No firefighting water supply will be available during the maintenance works. Customers are advised to ensure they have an adequate supply of drinking water during the specified period due to planned water network flushing works.

Following completion of the flushing operations, tap water may temporarily appear cloudy. However, the company emphasises that the water remains safe for consumption and poses no health risk, although it is advisable to allow it to settle before use.

According to the company, any discoloured or cloudy water can usually be cleared from the system after the works have been completed by briefly running an outdoor garden tap.
