“Downtown – Love It” Event Series Continues This Weekend

Market stalls, children’s activities, guided tours, DayTime Parties and an evening terrace atmosphere all feature in the latest Downtown – Love It line-up.

Once again, the heart of the city centre will be filled with experiences and good cheer! Market stalls, children’s activities, musical rhythms and refreshing discounts will ensure the perfect summer outing. Invite your friends and family, and enjoy a leisurely stroll through Debrecen’s favourite meeting place.

Available throughout the weekend:
“Following Footsteps” – an exhibition of street photographs by Levente Vigh, presented in cooperation with the MODEM Centre for Modern and Contemporary Arts.

31 July
Craft market, with Alexandra Kocsis.
DayTime Party, organised by Pince Café & Music Club.

1 August
WATCH – Ideas become reality at Agora – an experience-based activity organised by Agora Science Centre.
Craft market, with Tizsu and Marianna Art & Design.
Themed guided tour, organised by the Debrecen Bicycle Museum.
Vitéz László – The Buried Treasure, a traditional fairground puppet performance presented by the Csokonai National Theatre Debrecen.
DayTime Party, organised by TABU Debrecen Dance & Night Club.
DayTime Party, organised by Pince Café & Music Club.

2 August
Themed guided tour, organised by the Debrecen Bicycle Museum.

Several hospitality venues on Piac Street are also joining the event series with discounts and extended opening hours on Friday and Saturday:
Annuska Ice Cream Bistro – 10% discount on ice creams | Opening hours: until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday
Stühmer – 10% discount | Opening hours: until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
The Box Donut – 10% discount | Opening hours: until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday
The Macaron Bites – 10% discount for dine-in purchases | Opening hours: until 9:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday

All events are free to attend.
