Renovation of Main Road 33 Nears Completion

On the Debrecen section of Main Road 33 between Egyetem Avenue and Nádor Street, the kerbs and bus stop have been completed, as has the resurfacing of the entire road carriageway with a new wearing course. Traffic markings are currently being painted, and the works are expected to be completed by the beginning of next week.

On the section of Füredi Road beyond the junction with Böszörményi Road, the wearing course has also been replaced and the road markings have been painted. Work is currently under way to asphalt the connecting roads, as well as landscaping and verge works. The bus stops have also been renovated, but for construction-related reasons they cannot yet be used. The entire section is expected to be completed by the middle of next week.

From 14 September, renovations will continue on another section: between Böszörményi Road and Nádor Street, the kerbs on the southern side will first be removed and rebuilt, and the bus stop will be relocated. The work will then continue with milling the outer lanes.

Traffic restrictions and congestion can therefore be expected on this section as well over the coming weeks.
