Renovation of Main Road 33 Continues in Debrecen on Another Section of Füredi Road

As planned, road renovation works on Main Road 33 will continue from 14 September 2026 on Füredi Road within the built-up area of Debrecen.

In the next phase of the investment starting on 14 September, works on the southern (even-numbered) side of the section between Böszörményi Road and Nádor Street will begin with the removal and construction of kerbs and the relocation of a bus stop. This will be followed by milling off the asphalt surface of the outer lanes.

The works on the section concerned are expected to be completed by December 2026.

The works will be carried out in a way that ensures continuous traffic flow with as little disruption as possible. The Municipality of Debrecen asks motorists to drive with increased caution on the affected section of road and to follow the temporary traffic management signs in place.

Local residents and road users are thanked for their understanding and patience during the works.
