Debrecen Paramedics Receive Two New Life-Saving Devices from Ambulance Foundation
Now celebrating its tenth anniversary, the Debrecen Ambulance Foundation has supported the work of local ambulance staff through numerous initiatives over the past decade. As part of the anniversary year, the foundation has donated two state-of-the-art video laryngoscopes to the National Ambulance Service.
The Debrecen Ambulance Foundation is celebrating ten years of supporting local ambulance staff and the close-knit professional community. In recent years, the foundation has contributed to a number of initiatives, including the modernisation of the ambulance station, improvements to working conditions and the organisation of community events, the organisation announced on its social media page.
As part of its anniversary celebrations, the foundation has made another significant contribution to the Northern Great Plain Regional Organisation of the National Ambulance Service, donating two video laryngoscopes to the ambulance service. These state-of-the-art devices are particularly useful when managing difficult airways using technology recommended by international professional guidelines to help improve the safety and effectiveness of life-saving procedures.
The purchase will also support a pilot study involving the emergency ambulance based in Debrecen, helping to assess the practical application of modern airway management technology and further improve patient safety. The National Ambulance Service thanked the Debrecen Ambulance Foundation on its social media page for its dedicated support over the past ten years and for its anniversary donation.
