His qualifications include a PhD in English (in the USA), a Master’s degree in English and LIS (Library and Information Science), a Higher Certificate in English for Law and Public Administration, and a certification as a translator of record.

Authorised official translations and translation certifications in Hungary are prepared by the Hungarian Office for Translation and Attestation Ltd. (OFFI), a fully state-owned company. The Office has been operating for over 150 years. Since its inception, it has been considered the ultimate provider of linguistic mediation in Hungary and obtained a Bureau Veritas Certification Hungary qualification in 2002. Its scope of activities includes preparing certified and e-certified (electronically certified) translations, preparing non-certified (specialised) translations, and interpreting.
