Screenings will resume at the Apollo Cinema
After a forced shutdown, Debrecen’s cult cinema will open with renewed vigour.
The Főnix Event Management Nonprofit Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Apollo Cinema will welcome film lovers again from 9 May. Following an unexpected shutdown due to leaks, the necessary repairs were completed in a short time and the latest cinema premieres and arthouse films will be available again.
The work carried out over the past few days were mainly in the lobby and corridor spaces, so that the cinema’s projection equipment can continue to operate without disruption.
“Apollo Cinema is not just a screening venue for us, it is an important cultural meeting point for the city. That’s why it was a priority to get back to the audience as soon as possible,” Managing Director of Főnix Event Management Nonprofit Ltd.,” Zita Dobos said.
