National Unity Day – 2025

The Municipality of Debrecen will organise a commemoration on June 4, 2025, on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of the Treaty of Trianon.

5:00 p.m.: Dósa nádor Square – “The Hungarians flee to their hearts” 

Joint program by the Főnix Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Ensemble and the Bürkös Orchestra

5:30 p.m.: Walk from Dósa nádor Square to Bem Square accompanied by the Főnix Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Ensemble and the Bürkös Orchestra

6:00 p.m.: Bem Square – “The bottom of the sky is splitting!”

Commemoration and wreath-laying in front of the statue of Émile Guillaume entitled “Hungarian Pain”, Member of Parliament, Dr. László Pósán, is giving  a speech

Participants: actor of the Csokonai National Theatre, István Papp, folk singer Lilla Tóth, the Debrecen Garrison Orchestra, the Főnix Children’s and Youth Folk Dance Ensemble and the Bürkös Orchestra
