Teva has a new Chief Commercial Officer

“Diderick Turpijn, who has more than two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, will replace Jelena Livšica as Chief Commercial Officer of Teva Pharmaceuticals Ltd., who, following his successes in Hungary, will use his knowledge in a similar position in the future in the company’s Czech and Slovak markets,” the company announced.

Deeply committed to improving patients’ quality of life and achieving business goals, the new CEO, Diderick Turpijn, began his career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2003. He spent a decade at MSD/Merck & Co. in various positions in sales, marketing and process development.

He joined Teva’s European headquarters in Amsterdam in 2013, where he held several leadership positions. Most recently, he was the company’s head of European marketing, with the rank of Vice President. In this role, in addition to marketing, he was also responsible for market launch management, data analysis, and forecasting. He has led highly skilled, goal-oriented teams of professionals and achieved outstanding results in innovative strategies, providing value to both patients and healthcare providers.

Diderick Turpijn is from the Netherlands and holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Amsterdam (VU). He is married and has two young daughters. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and hiking.

Diderick comes to lead Teva’s Hungarian sales organisation with a clear and heartfelt goal:
