According to a statement by the Hungarian Concessionary Infrastructure Developer Limited Liability Company (MKIF), the on- and off-ramp lanes of the M35 motorway at the junction of the main roads 354 and 35 will be closed from noon on 20 June.

During the closure, the following diversion routes can be used:

Exit from the direction of Nyíregyháza towards Main Road 35: Continue driving on Main Road 354 until the Highway M35 junction, where you have to turn back to Main Road 354 towards Nyíregyháza. From this side, you can turn off to the Main Road 35.

Route to Highway M3 and Budapest: Main Road 35 – Külső-Újvárosi Street (road number 3318) – Highway M35 Hajdúböszörmény junction – side of Highway M35 towards M3.

Route to Main Road 33 (Hortobágy) and the BMW Plant: Main Road 35 – Külső-Újvárosi Street (road number 3318) – Highway M35 Hajdúböszörmény junction – side of Highway M35 leading to the border – Highway M35 Hajdúböszörmény junction at km 38.

Route to Berettyóújfalu: Main Road 35 – Debrecen, Böszörményi Street – Pesti Street – Kishegyesi Street – Highway M35 Kishegyesi Street junction – side of Highway M35 leading to the border, collector, and distribution track.

According to MKIF, the closures are expected to be in effect until July 10.

Closures and work dates may change due to weather, logistical arrangements, and other external factors.
