The traffic lane on Postakert Street is open again

The Municipality of Debrecen informs its residents that the damage to the drinking water backbone pipe, which occurred during the renovation of Szoboszlói Road – Külsővásártér and its restoration works, has been completed.

The contractor has finished the works on the Postakert Street side, and the affected lane has become passable again as of early Sunday afternoon.

The public works are still in progress on the Arany János Street side. It is expected that the traffic lane on Külsővásártér, heading towards the city centre, will reopen on the morning of Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Until the works are completed, public transport will operate on a diversion route; more information is available at www.dkv.hu.

Drivers are asked to drive according to the posted temporary traffic signs and, if possible, avoid the affected road section.
