The traffic lane on Postakert Street is open again

The Municipality of Debrecen informs the esteemed public that the damage to the drinking water backbone pipe that occurred during the renovation of Szoboszlói Road – Külsővásártér and its restoration works; the contractor completed the works on the Postakert Street side, so the affected lane became passable again as of early Sunday afternoon.

The public works are still in progress on the Arany János Street side. It is expected that the traffic lane of Külsővásártér towards the city centre will be reopened on the morning of Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Until the works are completed, public transport will operate on a diversion route, more information about which is available at www.dkv.hu.

We ask everyone to drive according to the posted temporary traffic signs and, if possible, avoid the affected road section!
