An international company leased the logistics hall completed in Debrecen
“The construction of the nearly twenty thousand square meter logistics hall developed by Innovinia has been completed,” the company announced. IGPark Debrecen was built in the Northwest Economic Zone, which also houses the BMW factory.
The newly opened logistics hall is linked to the company’s sustainability and social responsibility efforts not only by its size, but also by its environmentally conscious design.
In addition to the usual green solutions, the company was looking for innovative ways to achieve sustainability in both the building and the environment, which will have a tangible impact not only during the development phase but also during the operational phase.
The energy needs of the logistics hall are entirely supplied by electricity and alternative energy.
The green space was developed with the cooperation and professional guidance of the Department of Ecology of the University of Debrecen.
The main tenant of the facility is Duvenbeck, a leading international logistics provider. The Germany-based company took occupancy on 1 July. They chose Debrecen to strengthen their logistics network in the region. A strategic location and a modern, sustainable infrastructure were key factors for the company.
