The Campus Express starts, see where it goes
DKV is launching Campus Express buses. From Wednesday’s opening day, July 16 to 19, the special services will be available, which will transport passengers from the Main Station to the Campus Festival venue with fewer stops than usual.
Buses depart from the Main Station every ten minutes between 5:00 p.m. and 8:50 p.m.
The buses run on the route Main Station – Piac Street – Kossuth Street – Rákóczi Street – Péterfia Street – Bem Squarer – Simonyi Roadt and you can get on at the following stops:
- Main Station (stop for bus 10)
- Piac Street
- Csokonai Theatre (transfer point for buses coming from the eastern and western parts of the city)
- Rákóczi Street
- Eötvös Street (tram stop)
- Bem Square (tram stop)
- Nagyerdei blvd. (tram stop)
As reported earlier, DKV is helping those looking to have fun get to the festival with more frequent services on tram 1 and bus lines 22, 22Y, 24, 24Y.
This year, night buses C1, C2 and C3 will also be operating, while night buses 92, 93 and 94, which only carry passengers on Friday and Saturday nights, will not be operating.
Due to the festival preparatory work, buses 16, 22, 22Y, 24 and 24Y will be operating on a diversion route from the start of operations on Monday, July 14 until the end of the festival, and until the end of operations on Sunday, July 20.
