After the autumn break, visitors can look forward to a wide range of programs at Agora
As part of its annual tradition, the Agora Science Experience Center will be closed for maintenance from September 1 to 25, 2025. But once the autumn break ends, the center will come alive with a wide range of exciting and educational programs.
On Friday, September 26, visitors are invited to the exciting programs of the Researchers’ Night.
The focus will be on the career orientation program called WATCH, a joint program of Emerson I NI and Agora. Those who visit the Agora can get acquainted with the interactive tools created within the framework of WATCH, such as the color technician, earthquake simulator, reaction time table, smart mirror, reflex test, plasma plate, and laser spirograph. The lectures will reveal what knowledge students can gain in the framework of WATCH; they will learn what can be made with 3D printing and what humanoid robots are capable of.
Interested parties can already register in advance for the project-based program focusing on STEM fields via this link.
After that, on September 27 and 28, the Autumn Kick-Off Weekend at the Agora will offer exciting educational lectures and discounted admission tickets.
The programs will reveal, among other things, when the deer are mooing, why pine trees do not shed their leaves, whether we can create lightning in a room, how extreme cold changes everyday objects, and whether balloons can withstand fire without bursting.
From September 27, the Agora will welcome visitors according to winter opening hours. The experience center is open from Wednesday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
