On Saturday, September 20, 2025, Debrecen will once again host The Night of Churches, a unique cultural and spiritual event offering guided tours through some of the city’s most iconic religious landmarks.
Organized by the Great Library and Museum of the Debrecen Reformed College, this year’s program features three distinct tour routes, each offering a rich experience of architectural beauty, historical depth, and spiritual heritage.

Participants may choose one tour route. Please indicate your preferred route during registration.
Tour I
Departure: 5:30 p.m., meeting at the Oratory of the Debrecen Reformed College

– Saint Anne’s Cathedral
– Saint Stephen’s Greek Catholic Chape
Tour II
Departure: 6:45 p.m., meeting at the Debrecen Reformed College Oratory.

– Evangelical Church
– Small Church
– Pásti Street Synagogue
Tour III
Departure: 6:00 p.m., meeting at the Debrecen Reformed University Church.
Route:
– University Church
– Church of the Incarnation
– Debrecen-Nagyerdei Reformed Church
– Füredi Street Reformed Church
– Saint László Dominican Church and Monastery
Other information:
- Photographs and films may be taken during the event. Everyone participates in the program at their own risk.
- The Night of the Temples is held on the occasion of the Ars Sacra festival.
