Due to the overwhelming interest and enthusiasm, the 3rd Debrecen Grand Fair (“Debreceni Sokadalom”) will be held from September 11 to 12. Expect vibrant programs, unique local treasures, mouth-watering flavors, and a festive atmosphere that will captivate visitors of all ages.

The aim of the event is to establish an annual tradition that authentically showcases Debrecen’s rich history of market culture and fairs, blending tradition and modernity in a vibrant fusion.

Trade in the Debrecen region has flourished since the 1300s, and in 1693, the city was granted the title of free royal city. Debrecen was the beating heart of regional commerce, a legacy that this event proudly celebrates.
