All government offices will be equipped with defibrillators – Nationwide rollout announced in Debrecen

19 defibrillators will be installed in the customer services of the Hajdú-Bihar County Government Office. The government windows equipped with resuscitation devices will now also function as life-saving points and will be added to the defibrillator map of the National Ambulance Service.

“Of the 318 government windows in the country, more than a hundred already have resuscitation devices, but all of them will have a defibrillator,” announced State Secretary for Public Administration István György saying “We are happy that the institutional system of public administration can line up with all those social and health goals, and we can help each other.”

“The government offices of Hajdú-Bihar, which serve around 900,000 clients annually, are located in well-known central areas—and from now on, they will also serve as life-saving points, not just venues for administration, “ as Chief Administrator Róbert Rácz said he handover of the devices.  “The government window system of government offices is a huge gathering point for the citizens of the state, and if there is a problem anywhere, we can help with this from now on, not only in handling matters,” as we could hear Róbert Rácz.

“The government windows equipped with resuscitation devices will also be added to the defibrillator map of the National Ambulance Service,” said Gábor Csató, the organization’s director general, who described the commitment of the Hajdú-Bihar government office employees who completed the resuscitation training as exemplary.

“I have never seen a county and a cooperation like the one here in Hajdú-Bihar County, where 115 people from the Debrecen government office and 58 people from the county government office decided to learn this and take this knowledge with them outside the government office,” he stated.

The 19 Hajdú-Bihar government windows will now also function as life-saving points. The certificates to this effect were handed over together with the defibrillators at the event held at the County Hall.
