Free leaf collection bags available again for residents in 2025
As in previous years, residents will once again receive free leaf collection bags this autumn, with the support of individual municipal representatives.
More than ten years ago, the Fidesz-KDNP faction launched this initiative to distribute free leaf collection bags to residents, helping to keep our environment cleaner and more beautiful during the autumn leaf-fall season.
The program’s success has remained steady year after year. This autumn, over 525,000 leaf collection bags will be provided free of charge by the waste management concessionaire, in cooperation with the Municipality of Debrecen.
As in previous years, the bags will be distributed personally by elected individual municipal representatives to residents in their local districts, at designated times and locations. No prior online registration is required to participate.
