BMW Group Plant Debrecen recruiting for second shift
For the next few days, the electric car manufacturer awaits those interested at Fórum Shopping Centre with career opportunities and a brand-new BMW ix3 model on display.
Manufactured at BMW Group Plant Debrecen, the ix3 is the newest member of the Neue Klasse family. This car of the future is now available for up-close encounters.
“Now that we have had the chance to look inside, the experience is even more amazing. I’m happy to see up-close these new cars that are being manufactured here since they are obviously a novelty to all of Debrecen. The car is beautiful and spectacular,” said László Ménes.
Beyond the model manufactured in Debrecen, some were also interested in career opportunities at BMW’s plant.
“What I’m really interested in is auto repair, how cars work, and what the next generation of cars will be like,” said Ádám Murvai.
Recruitment is ongoing, as BMW Group Plant Debrecen is switching to a two-shift system for several production fields starting this October. In order to ensure two full shifts in manufacturing for next year, onboarding and training are conducted simultaneously.
“We have vacancies for almost all production fields and are actively recruiting. The vast majority of open positions are for colleagues in production, mostly in assembly,” said Éva Gábor, HR Marketing Team Lead at BMW Group Plant Debrecen.
On last Friday, those interested even had the chance to try their hands at various work procedures and show off their experience and skills in manufacturing.
