The story of the Debrecen Folk Ensemble (DNE) began 75 years ago, and ever since, it has remained a defining force in Hungarian folk dance—both in Debrecen and beyond the borders.

To honor this milestone, the Ensemble invites audiences to a festive gala performance in the Grand Hall of the Kölcsey Center. The evening’s highlight is a shared stage appearance by former and current dancers, reviving the most memorable choreographies from the past 75 years. The gala will also feature bands that have played a decisive role in the ensemble’s life for decades and have helped shape its unique sound.
