ZEMPLÉNKŐ East-Hungary Construction Main Contractor and Mining Ltd. won the public procurement tendered by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation for the construction of a railway crossing in the Southern Economic Zone of Debrecen. The crossing will be built on railway line 106 passing through the zone, with a gross budget of HUF 305 million.

The railway crossing,  which was also approved by the city council in April, will link two private roads not open to public traffic. 

According to information, the railway crossing will be built between the CATL battery factory and the INPARK logistics hall, which is a partner of CATL.

The crossing will have two single lanes, with a semi barrier, light signals and axle counters.

The winning company will have three months to complete the works after taking over the site.
