A thousand experiences with just one click: the Debrecen Programs Application has been renewed
A valuable prize will now be drawn among those who download the application, with which the winner can participate in practically any major event in Debrecen for free in 2026.
As a result of the work of the past year, the Debrecen Programs Application has undergone a huge development, which has now become one of the most important digital platforms for the city’s cultural, sports, and community life. The application aims to present the city’s events, local values, and experiences in a transparent, up-to-date, and inspiring way for all residents and visitors of Debrecen.
The application was brought to life by the leading institutions of Debrecen: Főnix Rendezvényszervező Kft., Debreceni Campus Nonprofit Közhasznú Kft., Kodály Filharmónia Debrecen, Debreceni Sportcentrum Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., Gag Management, and the Csokonai National Theatre. Since its launch, many other cultural, sports, and tourism players have joined the initiative, so the application now operates as a worthy result of a city collaboration.
The updated version was developed by PW Studio Kft., which incorporated numerous new features and convenience solutions based on user feedback.
The application is user-friendly, offers quick search and filtering options, and highlights current daily events so that users can always be the first to know about the most important programs in Debrecen.
The renewed application was presented in the Bényi Gallery of the Kölcsey Center during a ceremonial press conference.
Mayor László Papp, Zita Dobos, CEO of Főnix Rendezvényszervező Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft., and Péter Miklósvölgyi, CEO of Debrecen Campus Nonprofit Közhasznú Kft., delivered speeches at the event.
At the same time, a prize draw was launched, with the grand prize being a pair of Debrecen All Access cards.
At the press conference, Mayor László Papp also announced the large-scale prize draw related to the application, which will take place between November 13 and December 31.
To participate in the game, players must register on the debreceniprogramok.com website and have the downloaded version of the Debrecen Programs Application (this will be verified by a notary public in the case of winners). The draw will take place on January 12, 2026.
A grand prize never before seen in Debrecen: the lucky winner and their partner will receive a one-year Debrecen All Access Gold Card, which grants them free admission to virtually any major event in Debrecen in 2026.
The card grants access to iconic events, without claim to completeness, such as the Campus Festival, the Debrecen Flower Carnival, the Wine and Jazz, and the Gourmet Festival; events at the Főnix Arena; performances at the Csokonai National Theater; Gag concerts; Water Tower concerts; Kodály Philharmonic concerts; and many other programs.
The grand prize can reach HUF 3,000,000—which provides unlimited access to the best programs in Debrecen for a year!
