Agora prepares for autumn break with modified opening hours and special programs
This autumn break, Agora Science Center invites curious minds to dive into science through hands-on experiments, fascinating demonstrations, and interactive learning.
The experimental demonstrations and educational programs reveal, among other things, why deciduous trees shed their leaves, how lightning is created, whether we should be afraid of a bat getting stuck in our hair, and how the jack-o-lantern became the symbol of Halloween. The Agora planetarium will be open throughout the fall break, where visitors can watch full-dome films and astronomy presentations, and of course, more than 60 games in the Interactive Space can be tried out.
In view of the autumn break, the science center will welcome visitors every day from October 22 to October 31 between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m., but Agora will be closed on Saturday, November 1, and Sunday, November 2.
After the fall break, a robotics club will start at Agora under the title “Code and Build!” At the club sessions, children can learn the basics of programming and engineering thinking in a playful way, using LEGO Spike Prime sets. Through exciting missions, they can build working robots and learn to control them in real teamwork.
The series of 6 sessions starts in the first week of November, with the same theme for two age groups.
