As the organisers explain, Sir David Attenborough’s life’s work has introduced generations to the richness and fragility of the natural world. His films and books have helped people develop a closer connection with nature and recognise the importance of environmental protection.
The aim of the competition is to present the beauty, diversity and vulnerability of nature through the medium of photography, while also encouraging respect and responsibility towards the natural environment.
The organisers are looking for nature photographs capable of capturing special moments in nature, showcasing the richness of wildlife, and drawing attention to the relationship between humanity and the natural world.
