CATL: The second phase of the Debrecen plant was never questioned

“The rumours that CATL is suspending the investment in its second plant in Debrecen are untrue,” the company informed.

“CATL’s experts are currently reviewing the technology and investment schedule of the second cell plant in Debrecen, with the aim of implementing the most advanced, low-emission and energy-efficient solutions at its Hungarian site. But the second phase was never in doubt, “ the company states.

In the meantime, the company is focusing on the completion of the first plant in Debrecen in order to start cell production as soon as possible.
