Closure of the M35 motorway section after Balmazújváros interchange

According to the Hungarian Concession Infrastructure Development (MKIF Magyar Koncessziós Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő) Plc., due to renovation works, a section of the M35 motorway after the Balmazújváros interchange—towards the M3 and Budapest—will be closed between August 1 and 8.

Traffic will be diverted at the Balmazújváros interchange.

During the closure, the following detour routes will be available, marked with yellow signs:

-From the M35 motorway at the Balmazújváros/Hajdúnánás exit (left), proceed towards Route 35, then continue on Route 35 through Görbeháza, and rejoin the M3 motorway at the Polgár on-ramp.

-From the M35 motorway at the Balmazújváros/Hajdúnánás exit (right), head towards Hajdúnánás, then pass through the town and rejoin the M3 motorway at the 203 on-ramp.

The timing of closures and construction work may change depending on weather conditions, logistical arrangements, and other external factors.

Drivers can find updates on closures on Útinform, MKIF website, and its Facebook page.
