Debrecen City Card offers discounts in more and more places

It was launched more than five years ago, in May 2020, and by now more than 33 thousand people have used the services of the Debrecen City Card. This number of tens of thousands is no coincidence: with the Debrecen City Card, residents with a permanent address in Debrecen can enjoy advantages and discounts, which is unique throughout the country.

Rozsos Szalon and Lotus Herbal Head Spa have also joined the Debrecen City Card partner circle, so 74 acceptance points await Debrecen City Card holders with numerous discounts. In addition, cardholders also receive a 10 percent discount on parking passes.

The range of acceptance points is very diverse, from thermal baths to various shops to restaurants; many service providers have already joined the program. With a city card, you can go to the theater, zoo, museum, restaurant at a discount price, but you also have to pay less at the hairdresser or gym if you choose a service provider from the impressive list.

Further information about the card and the range of acceptance locations can be found by clicking on this link.

The Debrecen City Card can be applied for by those residing in Debrecen.

As is known, the Junior Debrecen City Card can be purchased for children, with which children between the ages of 6 and 14 studying in Debrecen can travel free on DKV services. More than 15 thousand children are currently taking advantage of this opportunity.

Parents whose children have just become eligible will be able to register for the Junior Debrecen City Card from mid-September. On scheduled flights of DKV Debrecen Transport Zrt., until the end of October, children who are entitled to a Junior Debrecen City Card but do not yet have a card will be accepted for free travel upon presentation of a photo ID (ID card/student card/passport) to prove their age.

The card issuing points and their opening hours can be found on the Debrecen Városkártya website.
