Debrecen earns another prestigious award

The city was awarded a silver medal in the European Municipal Flower Show.

Mayor László Papp posted the news of the city’s outstanding international results on his social networking site.

The Entente Florale Europe international awards gala took place in Székesfehérvár on Saturday. Around 160 professionals from 11 municipalities in 7 countries attended the continent’s landscape architecture and floriculture competition, including two Hungarian towns, Zalakaros and Debrecen.

Debrecen was awarded silver at the international competition.
