This weekend the National Ambulance Service celebrated the 77th anniversary of its foundation and the 138th anniversary of the start of organised life-saving in Hungary.
The special occasion was crowned by the fact that three of the professionals who received recognition at the Parliament House are now working at the Debrecen Ambulance Station.
Dr. Gábor Nagy was awarded the title of adjunct professor by Director General Comrade
Dr. Gábor Csató
Dr. Gábor Nagy started his career at the National Ambulance Service in April 2006, while finishing university. Initially, he worked as an ambulance nurse and later became an ambulance nurse in a casualty ambulance. After successfully completing the paramedic III course, he worked as a unit leader in the Advanced Level of the Ambulance unit (abbreviated in Hungarian as ALS) from the summer of 2010. He obtained his general medical degree in June 2012, the same year he started his training in oxy-medicine emergency medicine at the ambulance service.
Dr Tímea Boros was awarded an adjunct professorship by the Director General
Dr. Tímea Ibolya Boros started her career at the National Ambulance Service in August 2012 as Ambulance Officer III. She graduated as a general practitioner in 2013 and started her training in oxy-emergency medicine at the National Ambulance Service this year.On November 28, 2018, she successfully passed the professional exam with an excellent grade.
Paramedic Gergő Farkas can boast of the Compass Award
The Compass Award is given primarily to those employees of the National Ambulance Service who, with their commendable work, exemplary performance and activities for the community, can become role models for other employees, and especially young people. It is a symbol of exemplary standing and value-bearing behavior. This year, the young employee of the Debrecen Ambulance Station, Paramedic Gergő Farkas, received it.
