Debrecen Programs Prize Winner Takes Home Grand Pass

The winning number of the day is 99. At least it certainly is for Zsóka Kocsel, as she was the ninety-ninth person to register for the one-and-a-half-month-long prize draw connected to the Debrecen Programs application. At last Friday’s drawing, her number was selected from among approximately 1,800 users registered for the game. The main prize was a Debrecen All Access card.

The owner of the golden Debrecen All Access card will be able to attend nearly 2,500 programs, including the city’s largest cultural, musical, theatrical, and sporting events free of charge throughout 2026. She can enter, for example, the Campus Festival, the Debrecen Flower Carnival, and attend performances at the Csokonai National Theatre as well.

The pass was personally presented to the lucky winner by Mayor László Papp. He described the initiative aimed at promoting the Debrecen Programs application as successful, as it has been downloaded by more than ten thousand people since November.

The mayor highlighted that the application has seen an impressive surge in downloads in recent weeks. Since its November launch, the Debrecen Programs app has already attracted more than 10,000 users. He noted that this milestone is important because the platform serves as a dependable guide for both residents and visitors, helping them navigate the city and explore the diverse opportunities and cultural programs Debrecen offers.

The game included numerous other valuable prizes such as tickets and passes to the Debrecziner Gourmet Festival, the Debrecen Wine and Jazz Days, and the Flower Carnival; passes to the Campus Festival and Debrecen Drive; as well as tickets to concerts, theater performances, and sporting events.
