Debrecen trams operate in two sections on Advent Sundays

During the Advent candle‑lighting ceremonies in Debrecen, passengers should expect changes to tram services, DKV announced. The events will take place on November 30, December 7, December 14, and December 21, all Sundays, at Kossuth Square.

Between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., trams on lines 1 and 2 will operate in two separate sections:

  • Grand Station – Town Hall – Grand Station
  • Kálvin Square – Egyetem/Doberdó Street – Kálvin Square

Service will be suspended between the Town Hall and Kálvin Square stops during these times.

Tickets already purchased remain valid after transfer, but passengers must validate them on both vehicles.
