Debreceni Vagyonkezelő is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of programs

From May to October, Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. (Debrecen Asset Management) will host 25 events for employees of its member companies.

The highlight of the event series will be a family day in September, expected to attract nearly 5,000 participants.

Debreceni Vagyonkezelő employees will also gain insight into the daily operations of the Debreceni Vízmű (local water supplier).

Debreceni Vagyonkezelő Zrt. company officially marks its 25th anniversary on May 3. To mark the occasion, 25 events will be organised for employees of the nine member companies to meet each other and gain insights into each other’s daily work.

CEO Virág Marossy stressed that, in addition to economic considerations, one of the most essential goals in setting up the company was to efficiently manage assets and human resources. She stressed the importance of bringing together the 1600 employees working for the city daily, promoting unity and celebration. She highlighted the importance of sharing success, reflecting on past achievements, and planning for the future.

At the press conference, Mayor László Papp pointed out that Debreceni Vagyonkezelő was the first holding-structured municipal company established after the political transition, later serving as a model for many cities.

“We can be proud that Debreceni Vagyonkezelő professionally manages public transport, heat services, and water utilities in the city. Even today, the company plays a major role in our extensive industrial development projects,” the mayor emphasised.

The events will run until October, including behind-the-scenes guided tours of the Debrecen Media Centre. Participants can learn about the history and culture of traditional local houses and get an insight into the Debrecen Waterworks’ day-to-day operations. In addition, DKV (the local public transport company) is organising a special escape-room-style trolley where those interested can test their knowledge of the company’s history.
