DKV launches new night bus services and adjusts several timetables

To meet the travel needs of the North‑West Economic Zone, the timetables of buses 71, 72, and 73 will change.

From the Grand Station, bus 71 will depart at 1:34 p.m. and 1:42 p.m. towards the North-west Economic Zone. Bus 71A, which previously departed from the Grand Station at 1:10 p.m., will now leave at 12:55 p.m. under number 71.

From the North‑West Economic Zone stop, the 71A bus that used to depart at 10:10 p.m. will, after timetable corrections, depart at 10:17 p.m. under number 71. From the Grand Station, bus 72 will depart at 1:38 p.m., and from Segner Square, bus 73 will depart at 1:21 p.m., both heading towards the North-west Economic Zone.

Starting Monday, January 5, 2026, new night bus services will operate under the numbers 971, 972, 973, and 974.

BMW Ring Road – Main Road 33 – Balmazújvárosi Road – Füredi Road – Egyetem Sugárút – Bethlen Street – Hunyadi János Street – Rákóczi Street – Csapó Street – Ótemető Street – Huszár Gál Street – Kincseshegy Street – Mátyás Király Street – Sámsoni Road – Lovas Street – Kard Street – Júlia‑telep – Kard Street – Diadal Street – Acsádi Road – Veres Péter Street – Vámospércsi Road – Kéknyelű Street – Vámospércsi Road – Létai Road – Lahner Street – Diószegi Road – Bánk – Diószegi Road – Gizella Street – Szabó Kálmán Street – Mikepércsi Road – Nagyállomás

Route of night bus 972: 

BMW Ring Road – Main Road 33 – Balmazújvárosi Road – Domokos Márton Road – Vezér Street – Böszörményi Road – Pesti Street – Kishegyesi Road – Derék Street – Vincellér Street – István Road – Vértesi Street – Gázvezeték Street – Mikepércsi Road – Ozmán Street – Szávay Gyula Street – Hun Street – Mikepércsi Road – Grand Station 

Route of night bus 973: 

BMW Ring Road – Main Road 33 – Balmazújváros Road – Füredi Road – Bem Square – Hadházi Road – Benczúr Gyula Street – Kassai Road – Sámsoni Road – Budai Nagy Antal Street – Hétvezér Street – Diószegi Road – Borzán Gáspár Street – Monostorpályi Road – PAC – Monostorpályi Road – Cseresznye Street – Széna Square – Kaskötő Street – Alma Street – Monostorpályi Road – Mikepércsi Road – Grand Station 

Route of night bus 974: 

BMW Ring Road – M35 Józsa junction – Rózsavölgy Street – Felsőjózsai Street – Gönczy Pál Street – Bocskai István Road – Tokaji Street – Templom Street – Alsójózsa Street – Nagyszentgyörgy Street – Tokaji Street – Bocskai István Road – Szentgyörgyfalvi Road – Main Road 35 – Böszörményi Road – Doberdó Street – Kartács Street – Dóczy József Street – Bólyai Street – Thomas Mann Street – Nádor Street – Dózsa György Street – Csemete Street – Nagy Imre Road – Hatvan Street – Segner Square – Nyugati Street – Széchenyi Street – Kossuth Street – Faraktár Street – Munkácsy Mihály Street – Víztorony Street – Ótemető Street – Rakovszky Dániel Street – Hajnal Street – Wesselényi Street – Nagyállomás

The night buses will stop at all stops along their routes.

Departure times of the 970 bus lines from the Péterfia dűlő stop:

  • 971: 00:17 a.m.
  • 972: 00:20 a.m.
  • 973: 00:23 a.m.
  • 974: 00:26 a.m.

Timetable correction for bus 30A: 

From Monday, January 5, 2026, due to increased travel demand on Vécsey Street, a new pair of services will run on line 30A. After the changes, bus 30A will depart from the Ice Rink at 4:05 a.m. and from Borzán Gáspár Street at 4:32 a.m.

Stop name changes (effective January 5, 2026):

  • The stop “Falóger” on Veres Péter Street will be renamed Szent Bazil Görögkatolikus Technikum (Szent Bazil Greek Catholic Technical School).
  • The “Falóger” stop on Faraktár Street will be renamed Mák Street.
  • The “Kolónia Street” stop will be renamed Mák Street.
  • The “FAG” stop on Határ Road will be renamed Schaeffler Debrecen Kft.
  • The “Vitesco Technologies Hungary Kft” stop on Jedlik Ányos Street will be renamed Schaeffler Motion Technologies Debrecen.
