DKV Introduces New Night Routes and Updates Multiple Bus Timetables

In order to serve facilities operating in the Northwestern Economic Zone, new night bus services have been launched as of January 5.

To better meet the transport needs of the Northwestern Economic Zone, the timetables of bus lines 71, 72, and 73 have changed. From Nagyállomás (Main Railway Station), bus line 71 will depart at 13:34 and 13:42 toward the Northwestern Economic Zone. Line 71A, which previously departed at 13:10 from the Nagyállomás, now depart at 12:55 under the 71 designation. Line 71A departing from the Northwestern Economic Zone stop at 22:10 now depart at 22:17 under the 71 designation. From the Nagyállomás, a 72 service departs at 13:38, and from Segner Square, a 73 service departs at 13:21, both toward the Northwestern Economic Zone.

Starting January 5, 2026, new night services operate under route numbers 971, 972, 973, and 974.

BMW körút – Road No. 33 – Balmazújvárosi út – Füredi út – Egyetem sugárút – Bethlen utca – Hunyadi János utca – Rákóczi utca – Csapó utca – Ótemető utca – Huszár Gál utca – Kincseshegy utca – Mátyás Király utca – Sámsoni út – Lovas utca – Kard utca – Júlia-telep – Kard utca – Diadal utca – Acsádi út – Veres Péter utca – Vámospércsi út – Kéknyelű utca – Vámospércsi út – Létai út – Lahner utca – Diószegi út – Bánk – Diószegi út – Gizella utca – Szabó Kálmán utca – Mikepércsi út – Nagyállomás

Route of night service 972:
BMW körút – Road No. 33 – Balmazújvárosi út – Domokos Márton út – Vezér utca – Böszörményi út – Pesti utca – Kishegyesi út – Derék utca – Vincellér utca – István út – Vértesi utca – Gázvezeték utca – Mikepércsi út – Ozmán utca – Szávay Gyula utca – Hun utca – Mikepércsi út – Nagyállomás

Route of night service 973:
BMW körút – Road No. 33 – Balmazújvárosi út – Füredi út – Bem tér – Hadházi út – Benczúr Gyula utca – Kassai út – Sámsoni út – Budai Nagy Antal utca – Hétvezér utca – Diószegi út – Borzán Gáspár utca – Monostorpályi út – PAC – Monostorpályi út – Cseresznye utca – Széna tér – Kaskötő utca – Alma utca – Monostorpályi út – Mikepércsi út – Nagyállomás

Route of night service 974:
BMW körút – M35 Józsa interchange – Rózsavölgy utca – Felsőjózsai utca – Gönczy Pál utca – Bocskai István út – Tokaji utca – Templom utca – Alsójózsai utca – Nagyszentgyörgy utca – Tokaji utca – Bocskai István út – Szentgyörgyfalvi út – Road No. 35 – Böszörményi út – Doberdó utca – Kartács utca – Dóczy József utca – Bólyai utca – Thomas Mann utca – Nádor utca – Dózsa György utca – Csemete utca – Nagy Imre út – Hatvan utca – Segner tér – Nyugati utca – Széchenyi utca – Kossuth utca – Faraktár utca – Munkácsy Mihály utca – Víztorony utca – Ótemető utca – Rakovszky Dániel utca – Hajnal utca – Wesselényi utca – Nagyállomás

Night bus services stop at all stops along their routes.

Departure times of the 970-series lines from the Péterfia dűlő stop:

  • 971 service: 00:17
  • 972 service: 00:20
  • 973 service: 00:23
  • 974 service: 00:26

Timetable adjustment for bus line 30A:
From the start of service on Monday, January 5, 2026, due to increased travel demand on Vécsey Street, a new pair of services operate on line 30A. After the changes, the 30A bus departs at 4:05 from the Ice Rink and at 4:32 from Borzán Gáspár Street.

Changes to stop names:
Starting January 5, 2026, the names of several stops have changed. The stop named Falóger in the direction of Veres Péter Street has been renamed Szent Bazil Greek Catholic Technical School. The Falóger stop in the direction of Faraktár Street has been renamed Mák utca. The Kolónia utca stop has been renamed Mák utca. The FAG stop on Határ Road has been renamed Schaeffler Debrecen Kft. The stop named Vitesco Technologies Hungary Kft. on Jedlik Ányos Street has been renamed Schaeffler Motion Technologies Debrecen.
