EVE Power and DSZC Sign Cooperation Agreement
Cooperation between EVE Power Hungary and the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre (DSZC) will begin in the fields of mechanical engineering, electronics and electrical engineering, the chemical industry, as well as specialised machinery and vehicle manufacturing, with the aim, among others, of expanding dual training partnerships. Through the agreement, new professional development opportunities will open up for students.
At the press event, Zsolt Tirpák, Chancellor of the Debrecen Vocational Training Centre, stated that over the past ten years the centre has sought to interpret vocational education, which can only be achieved through understanding and analysing the economic environment.
From the outset, the DSZC has aimed to map out the knowledge and skills required for competitiveness in the labour market.
This can only be realised through cooperation with partners. The joint work is based on five pillars: the first is career orientation; the second is further training for teachers in technology and corporate culture; the third pillar is joint curriculum development; the fourth is dual training; and the fifth is career support. The Chancellor pointed out that vocational training cannot be interpreted without economic partners, and it is a source of pride that in Debrecen this is possible in multiple ways. He highlighted that, alongside technical education, vocational training also serves as a gateway to engineering studies, and that Tuesday’s signing, in this spirit, serves the enrichment of both the city and its students.
Huanting Zhang, Managing Director of EVE Power Hungary, emphasised at the event that the company operates in a rapidly developing industry, which is one of the most important areas of modern technology in the world of energy storage and battery manufacturing.
“This is a truly high-tech industry, where advanced manufacturing technology, automation, digitalisation and engineering expertise meet,” the Managing Director stressed. In his view, the future of such an industry is unimaginable without high-quality education and well-trained professionals. Technological development continuously requires new knowledge, new skills and new approaches, which is why cooperation between companies and educational institutions is of paramount importance.
He stated that today’s agreement is about building the future. He pointed out that the joint work covers a number of areas, including, among others, the organisation of professional lectures and study visits, as well as strengthening dual training. They aim to show young people that the world of technology and industry is exciting, innovative and offers attractive long-term career opportunities.
At the end of the press conference, Chancellor Zsolt Tirpák and Managing Director Huanting Zhang signed the agreement.
